Career Video Surprises

I researched Nursing for my career and I was surprised at what I found. As a registered nurse, I could be working in different environments, such as hospitals and nursing homes, and working with radiation and other dangerous technology to treat patients. I wasn't aware that I could be using such complicated technology.

The second career I researched was physician assistants. A physician assistant is like a physician, but required less schooling. They are supervised at all times by a physician. I am surprised at all of the duties they can preform, such as take medical histories, preform physicals, prescribe medication, and stitch up minor wounds.

The third career I researched was a respiratory therapist. They help people who cannot breathe because of a illness or injury. This career only requires an Associates degree, which is very surprising.
